Bible Study for the Day: Mark 14:53-72
As I pointed out in the Bible Study for the Day for yesterday, we often see Jesus’ passion as being a tragic thing. To our sinful eyes, it appears as if Jesus were being defeated by the forces of the world, sin, and the devil, yet if we listen to Jesus even in these hours of humiliation, torture, and ultimately death, we do not see a man, our Savior, defeated by His enemies. Science and Technology Brief
You see, the US Government is currently burying massive quantities of radioactive waste in an abandon salt mine deep beneath the mountains and desert near Carlsbad, New Mexico. As part of this operation, the US Government plans to build a monument to what lies beneath in an effort to warn future generations, ‘Danger: Horrible Radioactive Death Below.’ Continue reading
