    ‘You shall be holy because I AM holy,†is a high bar to live up to, yet it is the bar that God set for men in order for them to fulfill the law and achieve Heaven. We know, however that no sinful man can achieve such a standard, which is why our God sent His Son to live perfectly and to die for us. By His life and death, we are made holy, and because of that holiness, we can now live for our God and know that our lives are acceptable to Him.
    1 Peter is very much a roadmap for the Christian living in a sinful world. Within its chapters and verses, the Christian can find a guide to how a Christian should live through faith. Such a life is not easy, as sin, the world, and the devil are always working against us, but it is a life that we want to live because of our faith in Christ’s death and resurrection.
