It can be said that sin begets sin. In Saul’s case this was certainly true. In his pride and arrogance he denied God’s commands for him, successively violating God’s law by his actions and separating himself further and further from God’s Grace. Ultimately, Saul abandon God altogether, seeking the divinations of a medium instead of calling in repentance on his God. Continue reading →
