    God’s plan for judgment and redemption is final, and God always follows through on His promises. This statement is not some sort of threat to illicit behavior out of blind fear, but rather a reminder that the Word that God provides us gives us a clear testimony as to His will and His intentions. God promised the house of Saul that it would bear the burden of his sin, and it did. God also promises what will happen to each person based on faith, and we can be sure that He will follow through in the same way. The reminder then is to always look to God’s word and His will, to remember His promises, and to always seek first His kingdom and righteousness.
