Context for Habakkuk 3:1-15
Habakkuk tells us of God’s mighty power in redeeming His people from their enemies.
God revealed Himself to Habakkuk in His glory as Judah’s redeeming hero. In this vision, we see our God storming against the enemies of His people, securing them against those that threaten them.
God is our refuge and our strength and He wanted to remind Habakkuk and us that, even when things seem most hopeless, He has not abandoned us. In His time, He will relieve us from our trouble, whether that is at some time in the future or when we reach our final destination of Heaven.
