20070813 Patriotic Poetry and Hope
While the political world continues to hyperventilate about Iraq and all that goes with that conflict, there are growing signs that more and more Americans get the point of what is going on there and in Afghanistan and elsewhere. 20070802 Of Challenges and Money
Laughing Wolf over at Black Five recently issued a challenge to Paul McCleary of the Columbia Journalism Review for both of them to embed with military units at Forward Operating Base Falcon, the recent center of the firestorm regarding probably fabricated emails published in the New Republic. If you have no idea what in the world I am talking about, here is a Google search of the topic at Black Five. At any rate, Mr. McCleary accepted this challenge, and now Laughing Wolf is working to secure the funding to make such an embed a reality. Continue reading
