Speaking of Obama incompetency, his insistence that the war against fundamentalist terrorism is limited to fighting in Afghanistan shows he does not understand the global scope and reach of enemies like al Qaeda. Whatever the connection between Iraq and al Qaeda might have been, Saddam Hussein was a known threat, and known funder of terrorism, and a known user of weapons of mass destruction. Furthermore, Hussein was tying down more than 50,000 of our own forces who were not available for use in Afghanistan.
Is this the kind of thinking we want in the White House?
