If John McCain is going to turn around his campaign and reignite his attempt to reach the White House, then I believe tonight is his best and possibly last chance to do so. Tonight’s debate, scheduled for 9 p.m. EDT at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, will use McCain’s favored town hall style, allowing him to speak more directly to the people and respond to the peoples’ questions for him.
McCain must go after Barack Obama on his record as the most liberal senator in Washington and on his autocratic socialist view of American society. McCain must correct the record of lies Obama has leveled against him. Ultimately, McCain must convince America that Obama is unprepared and unfit to lead a nation governed of, by, and for the people in pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness.
