Giving Thanks

Once a year, we set aside a day to remember to be thankful. We do this because we do not often reflect on the amazing reality we enjoy as Americans.

We have nothing to complain about. Certainly, things are not as good as they have been, but they are nowhere as close to as bad as they could be. We are secure, wealthy, and free in ways that no other nation in history has ever been.

I am thankful that God has blessed me with faith and a life to live it.

I am thankful that God blessed me so much to let me be born in this place and time. I can only pray that I prove myself worthy of that blessing.

I am thankful for our military and veterans and everything that have given for us. I am thankful to have been numbered among them.

I am thankful that our nation once again proved that this great experiment continues to work.

I am thankful for my family and friends. Never forget I love you all.

I am thankful for the opportunity to change myself through education and ambition into someone I now want to be.

I am thankful for the opportunity to write this weblog and for all of my readers.

God bless you all and grant you another year to be thankful for.
