Jules Crittenden recently posted a military reading list at his weblog that I think deserves to be explored by anyone who wants to have a greater understanding of the history of the military and military operations. I have to say that I have read only a small fraction of the list, but the collection of titles is a good place to start. Note on of the recommendations in the comments to read anything by Victor Davis Hanson–I concur and would add to that recommendation anything by John Keegan.
