The return of the Worldview Web Roundup

After a long hiatus (I published the last one in April of 2008), the Worldview Web Roundup returns, granted in a different format.

The purpose of this post is to present Worldview readers with a concise list of news and information items that caught my attention during a particular period. Certainly, this list represents my interests, point of view, and biases, but it also represents a place to start who do not want to do the volume of reading I regularly do.
