Jules Crittenden has up a well-written piece on his weblog about the 194th anniversary of the battle of Waterloo and how that battle helped lead to the rise of the anglosphere as it exists today. It’s worth reading just for the thought provocation about where we’ve been, where we are, and where we might be headed in our own troubling times.
