Envying the dead

I doubt there can be true happiness in this life, which fact forms one of my central hopes for the next. Our view of happiness now is usually selfish, but I believe our happiness in the next will be selfless in much the same way our Savior’s love for us was so selfless that he died innocent on our behalf.
