As is appropriate for the New Year, I am introducing a new regular feature to my weblog today. Daily, I will post a selected set of verses that allow the reader to complete reading the entire Bible in three years starting with today.
I did not invent this study; in fact, I downloaded it from the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod website, however no bible study is useful unless it is put into practice. I included a copy of the study as an attachment to this post.
I will provide an electronic link to the verses via BibleGateway.com using the New American Standard Bible translation. This link will also allow you to access other translations such as the NIV and the ESV. Periodically, I will also comment on or post links to more information on the verses cited for the day.
Today’s verses are 2 Corinthians 6:11-7:16.

vv 6:14-18 are very poignant to me because they show us that we cannot remain a part of the world, doing what the world does. As Christians, there must be something that sets us apart, makes us different, and that difference is our constant struggle to to become more Christ-like.
