Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.
–Winston Churchill
Michale Yon has the keen observations of an Army command sergeant major on the silent heroes among us.
I sometimes wonder if Churchill, as he observed the heroism of the men and women of the RAF during the Battle of Britain, could imagine that so few defending so many would become the status quo. The moment we forget what we owe those who man the thin red line, we are lost.
Remember our fighting men and women during the holidays and on all days. They deserve it.
