Micah 3:1-4:7

Micah 4:1-7 is one of the great prophecies of the end of days. This prophetic vision given to Micah applied not only to the Israelites about to be overrun by their enemies in Micah’s time, but to all the faithful of Israel, both the Jews and the Gentiles who are of the priesthood of Christ.

In this prophecy, God promises his faithful remnant that there will be an end to the troubles of this world. When the Lord sits in His temple in Zion, on His holiest of holy thrones, he will gather His remnant to Him for all eternity.

This prophecy is a powerful hope in a world that has otherwise gone mad. We know, as faithful Christians, that nothing on this earth- no persecution or hardship- will prevent our God from taking His throne or gathering us to Him at the appointed time. How much bolder, then, should our testimony to the truth be when we know that there is nothing that can defeat us because we are of His kingdom that will have no end.

Praise be to God that this is so.
