20061216 Bible Study for the Day- Isaiah 8:16-10:4
Why is there so much gloom and doom in Isaiah? Because Isaiah was prophesying to a people who had turned from God’s will, and it was God’s greatest desire that they return to the way He had given them. Sometimes the only way for someone to learn the error of his ways is to suffer the consequences of his actions. God’s chosen people are no different, and Isaiah prophesied those consequences.
