Made it!

As I am sure it was for a lot of you, 2009 was… quite a year for me and for Worldview. Yet, here we are on December 31 staring the end of a year and the end of a decade* in the face.

This weblog had a good year, with 798 visitors visiting 3,208 times. The top three posts for the year were “The other shoe drops” on February 17 with 70 total visits, “Flying monkey business” on December 17 with 50 visits, and “Fixing Ohio’s economy” from August 31, 2008 with 45 visits.

While we might be able to adopt a new outlook on life at any point, the new year gives us all a time to concentrate on the potential of time we have not yet used–or squandered–and to dedicate ourselves to using that time better. My hope is that Worldview will reflect that dedication in 2010.

Thanks for reading Worldview, and I hope you’ll come back for the coming year.

*Technically, since the A.D. period began with year 1, not year 0, 2001 was the beginning of this decade, century, and  millennium and 2010 is the last year of the first decade of this century.
