The European Space Agency lunched the first of its Galileo Satellite Navigation satellites yesterday from the Russian space launch center in Kazakhstan, initiating their program to create a constellation of thirty such satellites to compete with the US GPS system.
This launch also is another herald of the new age that is developing in the exploration and use of space, a new age I greatly look forward to living in and being a part of.
