Theomory via Aadrvark Alley: Confessional Lutheranism gets its own IRC channel

For those who enjoy online chats and want to talk about the confessional Christian faith, especially via the sometimes unruly format of Internet Relay Chat, the #tabletalk chat hosted at Starlink-irc is the place for you! If you have no idea what I just said, trust me, it’s cool. If you think you might want to try such a thing, but don’t know how to get started, feel free to comment to this post and I will provide what instructions that I can. I was on the channel today via Trillian, and it worked just fine.

News

BBC: News meets presumption in the discussion of the policy on Iran

I usually find the BBC News’ reporting to be solid, if somewhat biased. At least the BBC is more prone to report facts along with its bent. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of BBC News’ commentary. The linked article reveals another of BBC news’ presumptive analysis, this time of US diplomacy with Iran. The article presumes that the US is, in fact, bogged down in Iraq and that the military stance against Iraq was, in fact, a mistake. It is valuable, all things considered, to see how the other side thinks.

Commentary

BlackFive: Who bears responsibility for civilian casualties?

Uncle Jimbo blames the insurgents. I concur.

Pajamas Media: The UN’s Haditha?

Hypocritical behavior? You be the judge.

Pajamas Media: “You’re a big, fat, do-do head” now constitutes the definition of torture on the left

Does this mean that I am now guilty of a crime against humanity? Don’t answer that…
