    The Queen of Sheba’s visit to Solomon is a tale that excites the imagination of many, yet it is really a simple tale at its heart. Solomon, blessed by God’s wisdom and also by the peace and wealth that resulted from that wisdom, achieved great renown. The Queen wanted to see and test that renown for herself.
    Solomon’s fame is one of the greatest examples of what can happen to those who seek first God’s kingdom and righteousness. This is not to say that all who seek those things will become wise, wealthy, and powerful, but what will happen is that God’s kingdom will be served and expanded by those who serve Him in faith, and they will reap the rewards of that service both here on earth and in Heaven.
