The NASA Inflatable Moonbase- Roland Piquepaille’s Technology Trends via Slashdot

Sometimes, the simplest solution really is the best: Space Tents.

Now We Will Act on Man’s Greatest Desire to Blot Out the Sun- National Geographic via The Drudge Report

Huh. It’s possible that the world is heating up because the giant fusion reactor in the sky is hotter now than normal. Huh.

Coming Soon to a Dhimmified Western Nation Near You (Maybe Yours)- Fox News

Shari’a Law in all its glory. Think it cannot happen here? What about multiculturalism?

The previous questions are not a scare tactic, but rather a point for consideration. As the Muslim population in the US grows, it is practically inevitable that there will be calls for the allowance of Shari’a law as part of the ‘free exercise of religion’. This phenomenon has already appeared in Europe and Canada, so the likelihood that it will appear here is very high. The point is what will our answer be?

More Than One Way to Deal With Iran- BlackFive

Whatever the debate may be, the radical theocracy of Iran will have to be dealt with by the West sooner or later. Fortunately, there are sooner options that can be exercised while the debate continues.

An Insightful Glimpse- BlackFive

I will let this post speak for itself.

A Hopeful Assessment?- TigerHawk

Yet another view of why ‘staying the course’ in Iraq is the best thing to do.

A Day in the Life- US Cavalry on Point via Mudville Gazette

A provoking glimpse into a day in the life of a military member deployed in Baghdad.

Mistakes Were Made- BlackFive

Contrary to what many liberals want to believe, supporters of military action in Iraq do not deny that mistakes were made. In fact, we acknowledge that quite a few things could have been done far better, such as closing and sealing the borders with Iran and Syria. The linked post provides another example.

Mistakes, however, are the nature of warfare, and such mistakes do not invalidate the legitimacy of the pursuit. We must win in Afghanistan, Iraq, and wherever else the War Against Fundamentalist Islam takes us because failure means the destruction of everything we believe in as a free republic.

A Worthwhile Read on the Effects of Radical Leftism- Mudville Gazette

As the debate over the mission in Iraq ‘heats up’, here is a telling post about the modern Leftist protest movement and a comparison of that movement to the Vietnam protests and the Kent State tragedy.

Reminder

Michael Yon- Michael Yon Online

Just a reminder for everyone to check out and regularly read this weblog. While I do not always agree with everything Mr. Yon has to say, he is a talented writer and reporter, and he has the advantage of proximity that I do not. His posts are succinct, accurate, and thought provoking to say the least. If we had more reporting like his in the Mainstream Media, perhaps our nation would not be so deluded.
