    The Song of Deborah is a song of praise for the victory that God gave Israel in defeating the Canaanites. It is a song that reminds the faithful of the benefit of heeding God’s will and following His word when it is presented to us, whatever the source might be.
    In our modern times, it is often difficult for us to discern what God’s will might be for us. When the Word is spoken, sometimes we doubt its source or its message, yet God promises us that His world will not go out from Him without accomplishing His purpose, and in that promise we must trust.
