    God uses all kinds of men in the furtherance of His kingdom, even mercenaries born of prostitutes. In the story of Jephthah, we see God raising up for Israel’s defense a man who was driven from his own people. Even people such as these serve as instruments of God’s purpose.
    If Jephthah, the how much less those of us who have faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are promised, by the Word, that faith makes us God’s workmanship, and being that Workmanship, we are now able to do God’s will with our lives, regardless of who we think we might be [ Ephesians 2:8-10].
