For all my readers,
Unfortunately, like most modern weblogs not hosted on something like Blogger, I receive literally hundreds of spam comments everyday. I have various measures in place to cut down on the volume of known spam, however these measures mean that I must periodically “reapprove†commenters who have previously commented on the weblog.
Of course, this means that sometimes “the baby gets thrown out with the bath water†and legitimate comments get marked as spam rather than being approved and posted to the weblog. I do the best that I can to prevent such things from occurring, but it still happens from time to time.
At any rate, my request to you, my readers, is that, if you post a comment to the weblog and it does not appear or you get an “awaiting moderation†email, please email me and let me know. Very likely what has happened is that the comment accidentally got caught in my anti-spam measures.
I will do my best to remind everyone periodically about this.
