    The story of Sampson is the story of a man set apart by God for His purpose. God chose Sampson as the agent of His power to free the Israelites from the Philistines. In this story, each of us as Christians can find inspiration, as we too are set apart for God’s purpose by our faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
    Because of faith, we have the unique charge of being the ambassadors of the Gospel to those who have not heard that saving Word and to do the work God has uniquely prepared for us to do in the service of His kingdom. This unique charge dedicates us to God’s purpose and will just as surely as Sampson was dedicated to free Israel.
    So, each of us should constantly be on the look out for God’s direction in our lives, knowing that He has chosen us for His purpose through faith. Through faith, that purpose will become obvious as we remain in the Word and continue to follow the path of righteousness. Then, when that purpose becomes clear, we must pursue it will diligence, for that is the will of our God for us.
