David’s song is one of gratitude, the thanksgiving of a man who has lived his entire life under God’s grace and knows full well that it is God from which all of the blessings he has enjoyed have come. How often do we share that same gratitude and thanksgiving? It is an amazing thing just to be alive, let alone to have the talents, abilities, possessions, and capabilities that we have at our disposal everyday. Through faith, we know that we have these things because God has graciously given them to us.
