20060913 Bible Study for the Day- Psalms 58-59
What gives King David the right to be so judgmental in so many of his Psalms? Who is he, a sinner just like the rest of us, to call on God to put down evildoers? David does not speak from his own desire, but from a desire created in him by the Spirit for God’s Will to be done. David’s prayer is not one of self-righteousness, but rather one for God to fulfill His promises to His faithful. Continue reading
