    Psalm 53 poetically illustrates the depth of the depravity of sin. Apart from God there is simply no good, and all of us apart from God seek what is evil. Think that assessment is wrong? Then really look at the world around us. As the world turns away from God, they invent more and more ways of doing evil, so much so that even in our sinfulness, we are shocked by them.
    Yet even while we were sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:7-9). How amazing is that kind of grace? And now that we have such grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we can now live as God’s righteous ones, seeing good and pursuing it where it may be found. Thanks be to God for His marvelous gift to us!
